What You Need to Know

Application extracts scheduling content from a generic statement. Statements without repetition or logical compositions are considered ‘simple’. If time is not defined in a statement, implied value is used. When time is specified without pm or am, pm will be assumed.
The recommendation is to use pm and am explicitly when scheduling. Please, note that starting point of any schedule is in future. Samples below exemplify command style interface supported by the application.
Examples of Simple Statements

-
Reunion on March 17th at 6
-
Coffee with Mom on Wednesday at 9:30pm
-
In 20 days check account balance
-
Next week on Friday at 7:30am dealership appointment
-
On 2nd Friday in December discuss agreement renewal with Sally
-
After November 17th call Jane on Wednesday at 9pm
-
Check air filters in 3 months
-
Visit aunt on last Friday in September
-
In 3 weeks on Monday at 6 meet with Jerold
-
Call Jerold tomorrow at 9am and 7pm
Statements with Repetition
Statements with ‘repeat X times’, ‘every X weeks’, ‘every X days or every X months’, ‘repeat annually’ belong to the statements with repetition. Multiple time points can be defined for those statements as well.

Examples

-
Grandma’s Birthday celebration on April 25th annually
-
review credit card bill on 28th monthly
-
starting in 10 days every 2 weeks on Friday check up on aunt Ann
-
after March every 90 days change air filter
-
appointments with veterinarian on Thursdays at 6:30pm repeat 3 times

Composite Statements

In composite statements (premium feature) scheduler supports arbitrary exclusion, specified as a period in days. In addition you can specify ‘exclude holidays’ or ‘exclude weekdays’. Implied time is applied to all schedule elements, if not defined explicitly. The same rule applies to repetition.
